I did much research on watchwinders. They are out there ranging from $20 to over $2000. Wolf has a wonderful reputation and is sold in fine jewelry stores. I bought a Steinhausen and was very disappointed with it (for $99 plus shipping). It was returned the day after I got it. Worked poorly, noisy, buttons were poorly marked etc... I decided to spend the extra money and get this one. It is well worth the extra money. It is silent, works perfectly, has a 3 year warranty and will treat my Rolex gently while keeping it wound.
Do yourself a favor, spend the extra money and get a real quality watchwinder! You will not go wrong with this watch winder! It is well priced and works flawlessly.

A year or so ago I bought my husband one that cost less and was not happy with it. This one is great. It doesn't wake you up in the night and works like a charm. This is a must have if you have a need for one. Worth the money.

I love this watch case but I was surprised that it just stopped working after 6 months. It was still under warranty and they replaced it. They sent the "newer" model and I'm hoping they've fixed the issue. Make sure to hold on to the reciept if you buy it. You may need it.
