The 2.0 makes an ideal companion for self-winding watches because it simulates the wrist action, rotating the timepiece as if it were being worn and keeping it wound and ready to wear at a moment’s notice. It provides 600 rotations per day on an intermittent basis within a six-hour time span, which is followed by an 18-hour ‘sleep’ phase. This allows the mainspring an opportunity to release its stored energy with a nominal amount of energy being spent, keeping the focus on reliability. This unit features clockwise, counterclockwise or bi-directional rotation with the option of a 12-hour start delay.
