It features a durable dark gray resin case, silver stainless steel top ring and large buttons for easy access to timing functions. It also offers a 6-year battery life, water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet), three alarms (with 5-minute backup), and three time zones. This watch incorporates the Timex Flix system, which activates the Indiglo night-light with a simple flick of your wrist. To activate FLIX, put the watch into Night-Mode by pressing and holding the Indiglo night-light button 3 seconds until it beeps. With the watch in Night-Mode, a forward "flick" of the wrist with a sharp "stop" will activate the Indiglo night-light for three seconds.
The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer.

Being a 200 meter watch, its utility is in the ability to use the stopwatch underwater. The styling of a sports watch is standard - Black and brushed stainless steel. The high visibility orange buttons allows one to see it better underwater.
The strap has many notches so that the size is universal.
Features include 3 alarm settings, a timer, Event reminder, stopwatch, 3 time zones, and a Golf score.
Easy enough to use, the LED is clear. The Indiglo is different in convention from the 1st generation. Only the numbers will illuminate which do take getting used to.
Buttons are large and easy to push. The anti-shock feature lets you know it can take punishment over conventional watches. Less bulky in styling than its Casio equivalent, I chose this model.
The golf score allows up to 15 strokes per hole - which I hope will not be necessary for any golfer. This is a nice extra feature that is easier than keeping track of the score...Read more

I purchased this watch to use in my wood shop. It is great, but I did not realize it was the Mid size. I returned it for the full size. The features a great and the watch is tough. I give it 5 stars since I am tough on watches in my work as a physical therapist and on weekends working in the yard and in my wood shop. I am a runner and really enjoy the stop watch and count down timer. The water resistance feature is nice since i swim a lot.

I have been genuinely impressed with the features and functionality of this watch for well over a year and a half now. I have really given the chronograph, countdown timer, alarms and golf scorekeeper a workout. All worked flawlessly.
If the watch had held up to the swimming pool it would have been perfect and earned five stars. After one year I wore it for some lap swimming, taking care not to punch any buttons while submerged to preserve the waterproof seal. It fogged right up with water and remained that way for three days.
In error I wore it into the pool again a week ago for less than 5 minutes. The watch is still unreadable due to water droplets inside the crystal six days later.
If you take care to treat it as water resistant (wearing it in the rain was fine) and not submerge it, this is a great watch.
