This watch doesn't look like the picture - it looks like it's going to be a creamy yellow color, but it is actually a green color, with 4-leaf clovers stamped on the band. However, I was ok with the color- it was the water leakage that sealed the deal for my dislike of this product.
Do yourself a favor - go to Target and buy one of the Target brand watches - They're cute and cheap!

Nice watch but fades,

I liked this watch, the color was not as bright as it appears in the picture. It was more subtle, a nice green. Easy to program and set up. The only problem was that the strap fades after a while. It now looks dirty and even if you wash it, since it is worn out, it looks old. It is a nice watch for the price though.

It's impossible to see the band with the picture that is on the website, but the watch itself is good. I've had several Timexes in my life and they last a lot. The problem usually comes when it's time to replace the band: it alone usually costs more than a new watch. Then you go buy another one, which is not very ecofriendly but makes sense to your pocket. I just don't understand why a band is so much more expensive than a whole new watch and I think Timex could work on that. Now, the band, even if the traditional rubber one, will fade and stain with regular use. I have a white one, exact same model, and the band is brownish no matter how much I try to clean it: not even bleach will do it, unfortunately... But, again, it's a watch that will last a long time even with continuous (daily) use, and for that price it's a very good deal.
