Worst quality ever! Zero stars. The wrist band (strap) wears out very soon (like in 9 or 10 months). The strap cracks for normal, regular use and breaks. Since the strap is "built-in" with the watch, you cannot replace it with some kind of after-market strap. You're screwed. Your watch cannot be worn. If you're lucky, you can still get it repaired or replaced through Timex warranty. But good luck getting information on the process from their web-site. They just give a mailing address.
Looks slick, but very sorry I bought it...,

Ditto everyone's comments. It's a cool looking watch, well-built, but still sleek. But in the water and while riding a road bike, the tap sensor doesn't work. Actually, it works TOO well. Even when set to hard, it records a split every time I hit a bump and my wrist absorbs any shock from holding the handlebars or aero bars. Lame. Timex could fix this by making the TAP feature something we could toggle OFF. That way, when running, we could use it (works fine on a run). But if swimming or biking, we could turn it OFF and hit the button the way we always have.
Great Running Watch,

I just began training for a summer of half marathons leading up to my first full marathon in October. I have only had the watch for a few weeks and I really like it. The display is huge and very easy to glance at while running. It took a little while to get used to the cycle of buttons and how to set things, but now its a breeze. It is slightly bigger than a lot of the watches I looked at (width and thickness) which is exactly what I wanted.
Pros: The "TAP" feature is awesome. Its not like an iPhone, you have to tap pretty hard, but I like that security. I read some stories about it "mis-tapping", however i have not experienced one of these (yet). I have it set on hard, so I just reach over and slap the thing and it works flawlessly. Water break/energy gel reminders are great! You can set your own intervals for this and I have already felt the benefits. If you run with headphones, you will just need to turn them down slightly, so you hear the beeping...Read more
