Sprout Unisex ST2003LGIVPK Eco-Friendly Corn Resin and Pink Organic Cotton Strap Watch

In my search to find a birthday gift I first came across the Sprout line of watches at a local department store. I bought this one. What I liked about it is that its vibrant in color and size but not overpowering. Its actually better looking then the photographs. It was such a big hit, that I've picked up a couple of more. It works for all ages.

I like the whole concept with this watch. The face, numbers and second hand are easily distinguishable. Illumination would have been nice but not a biggy. The watches comes in both large and small faces. I find this item cleverly packaged and indeed a unique time piece. The case, buckle and most of the mechanism are made from 100% organic corn resin. No pesticides to wreck havoc on the skin.

I enjoyed its nice look for about 2 weeks and then a noticed that he belt looses its color. After one month the battery stopped working. It looks ugly and does not show time, What's the use? It looked so pretty.... :(

Love this watch! Honestly the vibrant colors was first to attract me. Then the more important aspects appealed to me: eco-friendly, all but 1 part biodegradable. Maintains accurate time.
