Skagen Men's 801XLTXM Titanium Collection Black Dial Watch

This watch is very light, has a thin profile, and is nice to look at, but the crystal is not durable at all! I had this watch for about 1.5 months, and had normal day-to-day wear and tear (nothing too strenuous), and after placing it on my nightstand the previous evening, I woke up to find the crystal had completely shattered! I took it to a local watch-repair shop, and they said they wouldn't touch Skagen watches--not even to change the battery. Their comment was that the mechanism falls apart once the case is open, the crystal is too thin and brittle, and the face inside the crystal is too fragile to even work with (the numbers on the face are basically aluminum foil). Next step is to deal with Skagen's customer service, and hopefully to get a replacement. A refund would be nice, but I'm not holding my breath. I received the Skagen Men's Titanium Black Dial Watch last week. I am very pleased with the look and feel of the watch. I was able to have the size adjusted. I have small wrists and only needed two links removed. It is very nice, thin and lightweight. the size of the face is slightly larger than I expected, but does not affect my positive opinion of the watch. I look forward to wearing it.

When I recieved the watch and it actually had a dark charcoal gray face instead of black. Very nice watch, but I was looking for a black face. The seller was incredibly understanding about my situation and made the return process very easy. I definitely would buy from this seller again and recommend his products.
