This watch looks much better in real!
Nice polished steel bezel, steel-like face, steel hands and marks. The calf band looks like real alligator leather. The deployment buckle closes with the long end of the band towards the inside (at 6 o'clock position), very classy, "a la IWC".
Although it is not a cheap piece, definitely looks much more expensive than it actually is.
Turned out to be an excellent choice!

This is the 6th Seiko in my collection, so you can safely assume that I am a big fan of Seiko watches. This is my 2nd Seiko Premier but my first chronograph. The other one is a perpetual calender SNQ-118. I love the fact that this line has sapphire crystals which is pretty hard to find in this price range. The appearance of this watch is stunning. I have a Hamilton which I paid much more for and this watch is every bit as attractive. I just wish that they would quit making lug sizes in 21mm. It is almost impossible to find any selection at all if you want to use another band than the one equipped. I like to have at least a couple of extra bands for each watch, as you can change the look of the watch without having to buy a new one. Anyway, I am very pleased with this purchase and I will recommend this watch highly.
