I never give five stars in reviews...until now. This watch is everything I was hoping for and absolutely nothing I feared. I hoped for a watch that was elegant yet sporty - I got exactly that. I feared the orange accents would render the watch sophomoric, cheesy or trendy when worn in a formal environment - it isn't. Really the orange adds to the sporty look without compromising its sophisticated and elegant appeal. Another fear I had was that the watch would be too large, again...it isn't. The size doesn't in any way assume command of my wrist but instead compliments it.
It is typically many years between watch purchases for me and I debate the decision tirelessly until finally taking a chance on a new timepiece I believe I can wear in all situations (be they formal or casual) and not appear trendy or gaudy or in general - out of place.
The Seiko SRG005P2 is the watch for me.
