I wasn't sure if I should get this- I've been looking at similar Seiko styles and the suddenly lowered price looked too good to be true. But I took the plunge- and it sure was worth it. I've had the watch a week, and can attest to following:

> Its much better looking in person than the stock photos reveal. The steel case is high-polished all around, and the black bezel pops out at you.
> The face is easy to read and uncluttered.
> So far, it has kept accurate time without losing enough seconds to go out of synch with my cell phone- its been a week.
> The lume is very good, but my frame of reference is limited- I'd call it great, but I hear there are watches with better lume, s I'll go with very good.
> The rubber watch band was extra-long, and easily fit on my extra-large 9 1/4" wrist. Its one of only two watches I've bought (in my life) where I didn't have to buy a NATO strap.

I also did not receive any documents except the made in China label. But even worse the auto wind charge lasts only a few hours so wind it as soon as you take it off-I happened to nap on a Sunday afternoo for 35 minutes and when I woke up it had stopped. Seiko customer service says it should run for 72 hours after taking of watch winder-good luck. Amazon has offered to send me a new same model and I will give it a chance-maybe I should have insisted on a refund. I have owned aS eiko quartz since late 70s and it is a real jewel. Seems like Seiko has fallen down quite a lot.

this watch is great. i really like the fact it winds itself. it's large. it's in charge. props to seiko. just wish i could have found it in a red faced version.
