The reviewer R. Liston is correct about the color of the dial - it is black not blue, as I stated in my comment of his review. Otherwise the picture of the watch is correct. The watch band pictured e.g. is the same. The black dial color did not prevent me from keeping this beautiful Seiko. I submitted a request for a product change to amazon so we will see if their customer service is on the ball, and makes a change to the description and picture. If you Google the model number and go to Princeton watches you can see how this watch actually looks.

I would describe its appearance as casually elegant, and would say it has a style appropriate for anything other than sports (though it is water proof down to 30 meters (about 100 feet.) I bet it would even look great with a black tux. It keeps perfect time, too.

This is perhaps my sixth purchase of a Seiko watch, and my first solar watch. The design is stylish and distinctive. A beautiful watch! And talk about accuracy...like all my Seiko watches before, it's set it and forget it! Did I mention that it's solar? No more batteries to replace! Five stars, folks. No foolin'.
