The watch is all that was advertised. It is attractive and keeps perfect time. I did have to get the band shortened...which one can do by himself, but I went to a jeweler. It replaces a Citizen Eco-Drive that I got on ebay. Good purchase.

This Seiko solar wristwatch offers excellent value for the money,Seiko's renowned timekeeping movement and freedom from watch battery replacement on an annual or biennial basis. In addition, it's overall appearance is very pleasing. I highly recommend this watch for the budget conscious consumer.

This watch replaced a 25+ year old quartz Seiko watch with nearly identical features. Although it is solar powered and will never need a battery, it is barely any thicker than the quartz version. I need the day of the week and the day of the month displayed on my watch because I lose track. That limits my choices. The band was a little tricky to shorten, but after that, the clasp is much better than the old version and cannot come apart accidentally. The face is easy to read at a glance, which is what I liked about the old watch. Finally, I paid $103 for the watch, which is a great value.
