This is a pretty watch and appears to be well-made. After all, Seiko makes the Pulsar brand and Seikos are great watches. It seems to keep time well and the chronometer works nicely and re-sets to zero. It comes in a nice box and looks expensive at the outset. However, there are two things that make this watch less than I expected, causing me to return it for a refund:

1. Even though the tag says the crystals are genuine Swarovski, they do not glitter and gleam like the two other watches I own that make the same claim. In fact, a number of them look dull, like old CZs.

2. The 'gun-metal' finish, even with the gold accents, makes the watch feel cheap overall, even though it weighs nicely and is well-balanced. This is the first watch I have purchased with this type of finish and it makes me appreciate my silver and gold ones all the more. Got it for my husband as a wedding present, when it arrived the small diamonds made it look a lot more like a women's watch. Returned it.
