Pulsar Men's PBK003 Alarm Chronograph Watch

I have always enjoyed the combination of an analog watch with a small digital window that allows easy use of alarm, stop watch, date, and digital time. I had just such a Seiko for nearly 20 years that finally needed to be replaced (yes 20 years--it was a great watch!). However, it is now hard to find this style of watch. I narrowed my search to Pulsar and decided to choose this one. The black finish actually looks better in person than it does in the photos (the photos give it a kind of plastic look, but it looks very un-plastic in real life--it does, after all, have a titanium finish). I thought the titanium overlay might be overkill but I now think it will be worth the money as it should keep scratches down. My only complaint is that I was told you need a special tool to remove links from the band and I had to take it to a local watch store to get it adjusted. Not a very accurate time piece. Loses about 5 min a week. It does look nice.

I have owned this watch for 4-5 years and could not be happier with it. The picture does not do it justice. The black titanium has both the sheen and lustre of a high price, high quality timepiece. The gold accents are just enough to allow you to easily dress this up or down. Another reviewer noted a loss of time/inaccuracy. I have not experienced that at all. I'm on my second battery and still no issues. I have worn this watch approximately 3 days per week and have very minimal scratching and visible wear on the clasp itself - nowhere else.

I just bought this watch again for a few reasons: 1) I love it so much that I wanted to make sure that I could wear it for many years to come. I have received many compliments on it over the years because of it's timeless style and quality. 2) It was on sale for 1/3 of what I paid for it 5 years ago ($185). 3) The first one I bought it holding up so well that I can give the new one as a gift.
