Product Review
Set sail with confidence and style to points unknown with this classic Omega Aqua Terra stainless steel men's Swiss quartz watch, part of Omega's Seamaster line. As comfortable negotiating deals in the boardroom as it is navigating the breaking seas, this highly accurate timepiece features a large, round silver stainless steel watch case with a rhodium-plated finish that blends brushed and polished surfaces and measures 39.2mm (1.54 inches) wide.
It has a slightly raised, highly polished bezel that frames a deep blue dial background with thin, silver Dauphine hands and stick dial markers in silver tone, and small minute indexes. Other features include a date display at 3 o'clock, end of battery life indicator, up to 36-month power reserve, scratch-resistant and glare-proofed domed sapphire crystal, and water resistance to 150 meters (500 feet). It's completed by a silver stainless steel link bracelet band that offers polished highlights, which is joined by a fold-over clasp. This adjustable band measures 7 inches in length.
The Omega Story The Omega watch story begins in 1848, when founder Louis Brandt began hand assembling key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen in his principality La Chaux-de-Fonds, in the northwest corner of Switzerland. However, the Omega name didn't appear until 1894, after Louis Brandt had passed away and his watchmaking traditions were taken over by his sons, Louis-Paul and Cesar Brandt. Omega watches have long been associated with glamorous screen and sports stars--the Omega Seamaster is famous for being the watch of choice for James Bond--with current ambassadors including Pierce Brosnan, Nicole Kidman, tennis player Anna Kournikova, and swimmers Michael Phelps and Ian Thorpe.
But Omega is more than just a fashionable watch. In 1965, the Omega Speedmaster chronograph was "flight-qualified by NASA for all manned space missions" as the only wristwatch to have withstood all of the U.S. space agency's severe tests, including passing grades for extreme shocks, vibrations, and temperatures ranging from -18 to +93 degrees Celsius. The greatest moment in the Speedmaster's history was undoubtedly 20 July 1969 at 02:56 GMT, when it recorded man's first steps on the Moon's surface as part of the Apollo 11 mission. Today, Omega is known for its rigorous testing of new movements, cases, and bands. Each new Omega movement is tested on the wrist in existing Omega models, while various laboratory tests are conducted to determine temperature-resistance, shock-resistance and vibration-resistance.

this product was well stated in the item description. It was easy to understand and quick to ship. I was happy with the price as well. It was less expensive than Ebay as well as something like Costco or normal retail. I was also happy with the quick shipping and the condition the item was in when i received it.

The watch is great. The UPs wa a nightmare I had to call them 5 times to get the item delivered correctly. I have also just received to invoiced from UPS for a total of 150 eurs for postage. The postage was included when I ordered on the site. I think that is a scandal. The sender didn't fill out the warrenty card so for omega I do not have the 2 year warranty.

Recently I bought Omega Watch in official dealer shop in Israel and actually was given already defected watch (sell person knew it well)- date setting function did not work. Watch was exchanged and after 3 weeks of usage same issue re-occured already on new watch. After complaint solution was to take same watch 3rd time and compensation for my disappointment was ... TISSOT watch. I was shocked and amused. Attempt to explain difference between Omega and Tissot buyers profile were fruitless. Official dealer did nto agree to upgrade my watch to another Omega one. At the end, after 3 months, my purchase was refunded, watch returned and I was granted to pick up complimentary SWATCH watch for all the inconvenience :-) Offical Omega? No response at all. So for me and my family members Omega is the sign of bad quality and ugly customer support . My advice to collegues and friends - never buy Omega, especially in Israeli "Impress" shops and "Roltime Ltd" dealer.
