Sleek, black stainless steel makes up the large case and round bezel to give a sturdy frame for the digital dial. The face features touch-screen sensory technology, letting the user easily set up the date, time, alarms, and even the time zone by pressing on the small words in red along the edge of the dial. The resulting numbers and letters appear in blocky white, easily visible against the black background. I was reluctant in buying this watch considering the reviews on Amazon.com, but I eventually decided to give it a try after reviewing other websites and user opinions. I have to say that I'm happy with the watch and I disagree with the bad reviews. I will first consider some of the issues raised about the watch:

1. The picture at Amazon.com as of July 2011 does not correctly represents the brightness of the display, that is for sure. The display is not a bright white on black background. The realistic picture is shown in Ken Cole website and other places as well. I'm guessing this might have been an error from Amazon.com. Leaving that aside, the display is not unreadable or barely readable. I can read it comfortably indoors without the backlight at an arm's length or more. At normal reading distance for a watch the display presents no issue.

2. For men watches, this is definitely not a heavy & big. It is 44mm wide, 10mm thick. Most of Guess watches are 46mm wide;...Read more

Wow - let me keep this short and sweet. This watch is really big and *REALLY* heavy. You need to be a body builder not to notice how much it weighs your arm down. The display is worse than terrible - imagine looking at your digital watch under half a candle-power....essentially unreadable. I find it hilarious that the picture in the description looks like it has a crisp black on white display (almost like an OLED). Ha! What a joke - that is bordering on false advertising. When you see the actual display, you will laugh too.

Combine all this with a really lame touch screen that responds slowly (if at all) and an annoying "beep" sound with every button you push (and you cannot turn that off). I really could not have been more disappointed with this ridiculous excuse for a modern watch.

I received this watch as a gift and I really liked it..it is fashionable and elegant. Also it is touch screen and it displays the time, day, and date which I really like. It is easily readable especially in day light and u can always press the lighting mode whenever it is dark. The only complaint is that it is a little bit heavier than other watches but u'll get used to it and it was a little big for my wrist so I had to make it shorter. But overall it is a nice watch and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a digital watch that is classy.
