I bought this about a year ago, and there's one thing you need to know about this pack: it's a must buy for the everyday commuter who wants to travel light or for the hiker who's looking for a small but durable pack.
I'm a snowboarder, hiker, and--on days when I'm not doing anything rugged--I'm your average commuter. This bag goes with me everywhere, from the mountain to the streets, and still looks new! The meshing, of course, will eventually wear but because the interlacing between threads is close knit the material seems to be withstanding all types of weather much longer than I expected.
Size: It's a small daypack, so don't expect to fit textbooks, binders, or anything that's more than 11 inches across. The main compartment is deep, but what the pack lacks, again, is room that spans across the main compartments. The pack, however, expands very well. I bought this product about 2 years ago. I still use it on an almost daily basis. It holds a surprising amount of things in it [I can fit a pair of slacks, collared shirt, flat shoes, wallet, keys, pens,a few small trinkets, and occasionally a blazer] I have put this bag through all sorts of hell and back and it still functions like new. After a good wash, it still looks new too! I have spilled things in it, dropped and kicked it a few times, adjusted and re-adjusted it over and over- this small bag has lasted longer than any of my backpacks throughout 14 years of school
(under much easier conditions)! The water bag came in great handy during summer commutes.
The one issue I had with it was the drinking nozzle- there was no way to keep the mouth piece from rubbing against things and protect it from dirt/bacteria. I used a rubberband to hold the nozzle closer to the shoulder strap when needed.
