Featuring conflict-free, single-cut diamonds, the Calibre #BL8044-59E from Citizen's solar powered Eco-Drive Collection combines precision and reliability with classic, elegant style. Gold-tone markers on a sporty black chronograph dial look sleek, while a polished two-tone stainless steel link bracelet feels cool and comfortable on the wrist.

We shopped around quite a bit before settling on this Citizen Eco-Drive. It's a heavier watch than expected, but not too heavy to bother you. The contrast of the watch hands with the background is much nicer than the same watch without the diamonds. Small diamonds are just enough to stand out but not too showy. There are different sized links that can be removed making for an easy custom fit. Best of all: Amazon's price! A few cons that were overcome: it came dead, absolutely NO power. That was disappointing as it was a gift that didn't work. We set it under a light for 24 hours and that did the trick. (Note: My wife has had a citizen eco-drive for 5-7 years...the watch needs to be exposed to daylight or it will eventually lose power...recharge under a light.) Setting the watch took a bit of time as the buttons were touchy. A CD is included if reading the directions becomes too confusing. Now that it's been up and running, no problems and quite a few positive comments...Read more

This is my 2nd eco-drive watch as I always would throw out a watch if I had to replace the battery. Hence the Eco-drive series is PERFECT - no battery change ever needed! This watch has enough flair (diamonds & gold plating) to catch someone's eye if that is what you want. My other eco-drive did not have an alarm and is much less eye-catching but has worked superbly for the past 5 years with no issues. I only got this watch for dressier occasions. I can not say enough about the Citizen Eco-drive watches as I highly recommend any of them if you are like me & never care to get another watch battery changed again!

who would have dreamed when I bought it that if you wear long sleeves, it won't recharge. Please consider this before buying. I believe this would apply to all eco-drive watches
