For me, this is a great watch. It has all the features I could ever need. It sets itself, never needs a battery replacement, has 4 alarms, and is very stylish. The black watch face is not difficult to read if you have good eyes. It is worthwhile to note that the band is not completely resin; its links are half metal. B/c of this I was initially surprised, but I enjoy the look and feel of the watch better with this type of band construction. Also, it has a cool feature called Auto Light, where, if the watch is in a dark place, it will illuminate when you tilt the watch towards your face. Overall, I am 100% satisfied with this purchase.

GREAT watch - stylish if you like 80's retro greek chic,

Depending on your personal sense of style, this could be the perfect watch. I've owned it for over a month and couldn't be happier.
This watch features the original Casio G-shock design, circa 1983. If it were an exact replica it would be pretty unremarkable, but this model features a reverse display, giving it a darker, edgier look. Add advanced solar power technology and atomic timekeeping (in most of the continental US and Japan) that updates three times a day and you have an extremely durable watch that will always display the correct time (down to the second) and theoretically run forever.
For around $100 it's a great value for the money as well, especially since Casio sells other G-shock models with less features for a lot more money.
