Casio Men's G9000MS-1CR G-Shock Military Concept Black Digital Watch

Comment: I have owned this watch for a week now and let me tell you I love it. I work on a Tree Crew where I am constantly picking up bundles of brush, cutting with a chain saw, climbing trees, feeding a wood chipper and rolling logs down hills. This watch saw bangs scrapes and whacks on its first day on the job. Other than a few minor shiny spots from friction and some cuts and scrapes in the resin, the watch is still working and the glass is still clear and unscratched. I am very impressed by the amount of abuse this watch continues to take without missing a beat. I love the tacticool look to it and I have not had any problem reading the display. It has an automatic lighting for those that do have that problem. The only thing about this watch that I wish it had was the tough solar and the atomic time. I would be willing to pay more for those features and I know they are out there but I would really like to keep the style of this watch. I guess I'll just have to buy another. This one looks like an Ent from LoTR ate it.

Comment: I read the reviews and despite all the warnings went ahead and got this watch. The only positive is that it looks great on your waist. Downside is everything people have said here. The readout is not legible and the buttons are too difficult to press/operate. I bascially have to take the watch off and use the tip of a pen to change times, set the alarm or use the timers. I can't imagine actually using this watch with gloves on. I wanted to return it but with a 20% restocking fee I figured I'd hold on to it and wear it on the weekends. G-shocks are great watches but I would not recommend this particular model.

Comment: I bought the watch about 2 weeks ago after reading many reviews. I was already sold on the Mudman, I was just debating which model. The blackout was my favorite, but I was a little concerned after reading reviews on how hard it is to see the display. I rolled the dice and ordered it; I have no problem seeing it at all.

I also read a lot of reviews about how hard the buttons are to press. They are a little stiff, but I like it like that. I don't want to bump into something accidentally and change the time on my watch. I rather be sure it takes deliberate effort. Granted, I set my watch and 2 alarms for meds and I don't plan on changing anything else until the battery needs replacing.

I can't speak to durability and I don't plan to beat it up. I just wanted an everyday watch that was stylish and I wouldn't have to be overly concerned about breaking. This fits the bill and I can save my dress watch for special occassions.

It looks every bit as good in person as it does online. Nice size without being gaudy. Stylish without looking like a kid's watch.

Comment: The buttons are vary hard to push. The display is vary hard to see in day light. The military theme is a joke. It feels like you have a hard rubber tire on you wrist.

Comment: I have had this watch for almost 6 months. I love this watch. Like others said before me...It's built like a tank. It does well in the desert, mud, underwater, whatever you can throw at it. Many people complain that it's hard to see in low-light. That is true but i see the time just fine. But if you have the same problem just turn on the back light. In the sunlight it displays the time just fine. Maybe lots of people are blind. Either way get this watch you won't be disappointed.
