Casio Men's AQ47-7E Classic Alarm Ana-Digi Sport Watch

I bought this watch and also Casio's MQ247B analog watch. Both have stickers on manual booklets saying they have mercury (element Hg, does not say how much) in them! This may be just fine for many people but I try to avoid encouraging use of heavy metals in watch design. Specific to this AQ47-7E dual watch, the screen is made of soft material (acrylic?) and is raised so it will get scratched very easily. The construction of the watch is ergonomic, clean and light. The rectangular watch body is a bit narrower on the sides than the round-faced kinds, making its sides streamlined and not get in the way of wrist bending.

I've owned this watch for at least 5 years before the wrist band cracked. The watch itself still runs just fine. Consider that this $15 investment lasted 5 years, it's an amazing value.

The watch is fairly actuate and have alarm and dual time display, the wrist band is comfortable and the style is great.

I have to say that this watch is one of the most useful watches I ever bought. I always wear long sleeve shirt so the expensive thick watch always get caught on my cuff. This one slide right under my sleeve and it has an alarm, stopwatch, 2 different time display in digital and an analog display! I simply love it. The expensive watches I got are really nice but they're mostly meant to impress other people but this one is the most useful one and fit me really well. I have reached a stage in my life where I don't see the need to impress anyone anymore.I simply want what is best for me and this little watch does its job well. Highly recommended.
