This is definitely the best looking, coolest G-Shock watch yet. I got mine about 4 or 5 wks ago and haven't taken it off yet (and I do ALOT of running and exercising). This would have been a 5+++++ start rating, but only design flaw is the light; as others have stated, the light clearly illuminates the time but you will NOT see the digital readout in the dark w/ the watch light. Definitely not a deal breaker, but that would have made it a flawless watch. I'd buy it again though (and I've had g-Shock, Iron Man, etc. watches.)

I've had this watch for about 4 months now, still no signs of wear or damage which is surprising since I wear it through work, diving and sports. I was at work and a 120" round table which weighs about 60 or 70 pounds (maybe more) fell on my arm, smashing the watch along with my wrist in between the table and a wall. I swore that the watch would have at least got scraped or damaged but of course with the fine g shock construction....not a scratch on it. I cannot say the same about my arm hahaha. This is one tuff, reliable and good looking watch. Along with that, the size is good. The other g shocks are small and all seem to look the same, this one is larger and looks more militant. I will buy again thanks G shock!

I got this watch as a gift from my wife and I have to say that its a pretty awesome watch. It is bigger than normal - the body is thick and big diameter-wise, while maintaining a lightweight aspect. The movement from the hands is smooth and accurate, and the LCD display is "reversed" and easy to read. I really like the subdued look of the watch, it looks great and adds to the "military" theme of the watch.
About the only thing I don't like is the orange/yellow LED illuminator - it is a single LED at about the six o'clock position that lights the face. It doesn't back light the LCD display or the hands, but the face in its entirety. Its kind of like shining a small flashlight onto your watch. While it is easy to ready the hands, you cannot read the LCD display in near darkness. I understand the "military" theme and CASIO wanting to keep with the "stealth" motiff, but anyone who's ever worn a uniform would probably agree that a yellow/orange LED beacon would stand out in the...Read more
