I bought this to replace a twenty year old Bulova watch that I had. I was a little nervous about the size, but I guess that's the style these days. It did feel big at first, but it didn't take long to get used to it. I don't think that it's oversized, but it definitely gets noticed.

This watch was perfect for me. I wear a black tungsten wedding band with a Celtic inlay and I was looking for a black precision watch with character but not at the expense of quality. This watch delivers both. Bulova is a name that I can trust and their precision line is one of the best in the price range. I removed 2 links in the band to create a perfect fit. Its the right size and weight. I couldn't be more happy.

There is no messing around with this beast. It is a large watch. In size and especially weight, it makes my Casio G-Shock look like a toy. I'm pretty sure I'm getting a workout wearing it. However, big watches are IN (or so my sister says) and this is a fantastic looking example of a big watch. The smooth-moving second hand is pretty cool but, in general, this thing just looks very classy. Also, even though it is a big guy, it really isn't TOO large. I have small wrists and it doesn't look ridiculous on me (as confirmed by my fiance).

Bulova is touting the accuracy of this Precisionist line and, so far, they seem to be spot on. The watch came set to the correct time and, comparing it to my atomic watch and my Blackberry time, it's within a second or two.

I have just two negatives. I like to wear my watches tight. Unfortunately, the crown on this one digs a bit into my skin. Maybe I have it too tight but I haven't had this issue with other watches...Read more
