I got this watch for my boyfriend for xmas this year. I was hoping it would be a bit heavier I suppose that would be my only complaint. Otherwise, it keeps good time, and he loves it. It is a classic watch in the sense that there is really nothing too fancy about it. He just needs to know what time it is! For the price, it was worth it.

The picture doesn't do this justice. The price is a steal on this watch. The band is polished and arrived in perfect condition (and quickly). The watch has some weight to it unlike others I've looked at (it doesn't feel cheap). I'm not particularly hard on watches, so I can't comment on durability under an extreme beating, but it seems to be holding up in near perfect condition after a couple months of use. It keeps great time. I couldn't be happier and wouldn't hesitate to purchase another Bulova.

This is a great watch to me because it takes design cues from the 1960's, when watches were understated, simple, but very manly and elegant. Perfect size - not too big and not too small - and the dial has a very subtle design that is outstanding.

The only issue I have is that the watch is too shiny - especially the band - and this is why I gave it four stars instead of five. It is not "cheap" or "light" weight as the other reviewers have stated - it is simply just WAY, way too shiny. The whole bracelet and all the links are the same shiny finish. Since the case is so shiny they should have made the bracelet alternate with shiny and brushed finishes like a lot of watch bracelets do. But I just took it off and replaced it with leather and it looks like a million bucks now.
